Hanuman Chalisa
Artist: Kalyan Joshi
Description:
The story of Lord Hanuman, known for his selfless dedication to Lord Rama and an embodiment of faith and devotion, was composed by Tulsidas – a poet-saint from the 16th century – while he was in prison at Emperor Akbar’s Fatehpur Sikri. This story is revived in the traditional ‘Phad’ painting – a 700-year-old closely guraded legacy that has been passed down over generations.
