Tussar silk with Kantha patches appliqued on the pallu, depicting stories from the famous poem 'Nakshi Kanthar Mathh' by Bangladeshi poet Jasimuddin.
The stories are painted by threads using kantha stitch and hand embroidered motifs along the borders of the saree.
Handwoven matka by muslin silk. The entire painting of Van Gogh’s Starry Night has been woven on the pallu, using 25 colours, by extra weft jamdani technique.
Colours available: white, black and blue.
Fine handspun handwoven cotton, woven in four colour blocks (white, pink, yellow, mint). The entire original poster has been printed by screenprint on pallu, the body has hand block printed polka dots, pleats have two songs from the movie printed by screen print. Saree has a lace detailed border running along the entire length.
