I owe my inspiration for the culinary arts to my voice of reason, my mother. The passion didn’t get ignited overnight though, I took time to discover my inner chef.
What followed was a series of experiments in my food lab where even the smoke alarm cheered me on. I soon realised that what was missing was two heaped cups of patience and a dash of meraki, and that is when the magic happened!
“If you think adventures are dangerous, try routine: It’s lethal.” – Paulo Coelho.
Travelling has always been my ikigai. For me, wandering under the midnight blue or the calico skies, is rebellion and humbling in its purest form. Sondering down the unfamiliar and being charmed by the kaleidoscopic world creates a yugen for me.
I’m a vintage soul, a three page love letter in a world of relationship status updates. So everything you see here is a labour of love that triggers an emotion. Every grain of sand that brushed against the hands, the lines and cracks on palms, the callused knuckle – each scar is a saga worth telling. Embrace the story and own a part of the artist’s heart.
